Description
Hong Phong 1A & 1B Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 347 hectares.
The project generates 520,000MWh electricity thereby offsetting 439,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.
100 inverters have been installed at the site.
Development Status
The project got commissioned in July 2019.
Power Purchase Agreement
The power generated from the project is sold to Vietnam Electricity under a power purchase agreement. The power is sold at the rate of $0.093kWh for a period of 20.00 years, starting from 2019.
Contractors Involved
Power Construction Corporation of China was selected to render EPC services for the solar PV power project.
JinkoSolar Holding was selected as the supplier of the PV modules for the Hong Phong 1A & 1B Solar PV Park (Hong Phong 1A Solar PV Park). The company provided 591,360 modules each with 330W of nameplate capacity.
