Description
The project was developed by Guodian Dadu River Hydropower Development. GD Power Development, China Energy Investment and Sichuan Chuantou Energy are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 69%, 21% and 10% respectively.
The hydro reservoir capacity is 706 million cubic meter. The net head of the project is 130m. The project generated 7,015 GWh of electricity.

The project got commissioned in 2016.

Houziyan (Houziyan Phase I) is equipped with Harbin Electric Machinery turbine. The phase consists of 1 turbine with 425MW nameplate capacity.
Houziyan (Houziyan Phase II) is equipped with Harbin Electric Machinery turbines. The phase consists of 3 turbines, each with 425MW nameplate capacity.
Harbin Electric Machinery was selected as the generator supplier for the hydro power project. The project consists of 4 generators.
