Imha is a 50MW hydro power project. It is located on Banbyeoncheon river/basin in North Gyeongsang, South Korea. The project is currently active. It has been developed in single phase. Post completion of construction, the project got commissioned in 1992.

The project is currently owned by Korea Water Resources.
The hydro reservoir capacity is 595 million cubic meter. The net head of the project is 48.4m. The project generated 41.02 GWh of electricity.

The project got commissioned in 1992.
Contractors Involved
Andritz Hydro was selected as the turbine supplier for the hydro power project. The company provided 2 units of francis turbines, each with 25MW nameplate capacity.
Andritz Hydro supplied 2 electric generators for the project. The generator capacity is 27.8 MVA.
