Description
The project was developed by First Solar. Southern Power and 8point3 Energy Partners are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 51% and 49% respectively.
Imperial Valley- Solar Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 1,451 acres.
The project generates 218,376MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 60,000 households. The project cost is $600m.
Development Status
The project got commissioned in December 2014.
Power Purchase Agreement
The power generated from the project is sold to San Diego Gas & Electric under a power purchase agreement for a period of 25 years, starting from 2014.

First Solar was selected to render EPC services for the solar PV power project.
First Solar was selected as the supplier of PV modules for the project.
