Description

The project is being developed by Inch Cape Offshore. The project is co-owned by Electricity Supply Board and Red Rock Power, with their respective ownership stake of 50% each.

The project is expected to supply enough clean energy to power 1,000,000 households. The project will be spread over an area of 150km². The turbines will be mounted on fixed monopile foundations.

Vestas Offshore Wind will be the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The company is expected to provide 72 units of V236-15.0 MW turbines, each with 15MW nameplate capacity.

Vestas Offshore Wind is expected to perform operations and maintenance for the wind power project for a period of 15 years.
