Inch Cape, UK

Inch Cape is a 1,000MW offshore wind power project. It is planned in North Sea, Scotland, the UK. The project is currently in permitting stage. It will be developed in single phase. Post completion of the construction, the project is expected to get commissioned in 2023.

Description

The project is being developed by Inch Cape Offshore. The project is co-owned by Electricity Supply Board and Red Rock Power, with their respective ownership stake of 50% each.

The project is expected to supply enough clean energy to power 1,000,000 households. The project cost is expected to be around $4,658.3m. The project will be spread over an area of 150km². The turbines will be mounted on a fixed jacket foundation.

The wind power project consists of 72 turbines.
