The project is being developed by Inis Ealga Marine Energy Park. DP Energy Ireland and Iberdrola are currently owning the project.
The project cost is expected to be around $4,470.9m. The project will be spread over an area of 925km². The turbines will be mounted on a floating type foundation.
The project construction is expected to commence from 2026. Subsequent to that it will enter into commercial operation by 2030.
