The project was developed by Kraftwerke Oberhasli. The project is currently owned by BKW Energie with a stake of 50% and Kraftwerke Oberhasli.

Innertkirchen (Innertkirchen-I) consists of 5 units of pelton turbines with 51MW nameplate capacity.

Innertkirchen (Innertkirchen-II) consists of 2 units of francis turbines with 31MW nameplate capacity.
