Irganayskaya is a reservoir based project. The hydro reservoir capacity is 705 million cubic meter. Irganayskaya underwent through rehabilitation & modernization during 2011. The project generated 1,280 GWh of electricity.

Turboatom was selected as the turbine supplier for the hydro power project. The company provided 2 turbines, each with 205MW nameplate capacity.
