Ivailovgrad is a reservoir based project. The hydro reservoir capacity is 157 million cubic meter. The gross head of the project is 52m. The project generated 195 GWh of electricity.

Contractors Involved
Ukrainian Energy Machines was selected as the turbine supplier for the hydro power project. The company provided 3 units of kaplan turbines, each with 34.5MW nameplate capacity.
