Description

Jaitapur 6 is a Generation III+ nuclear reactor.

The 1,700MW reactor is currently owned and will be operated by Nuclear Power Corporation of India. The company has a stake of 100%.

Jaitapur 6 is a type of PWR reactor. It will feature 241 fuel assemblies in the core of reactor, the place where fission occurs and energy is released. The project cost is expected to be around $3,936.35m.
