Description

The project was developed by China Three Gorges New Energy and Xinjiang Goldwind Science & Technology. China Three Gorges and Xinjiang Goldwind Science & Technology are currently owning the project.

The wind turbines in the project are installed on fixed foundations. An array of monopile foundations feature in the project.

The project generates 797,000MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 500,000 households, offsetting 527,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.

The project is currently active. The project got commissioned in October 2019.

Contractors Involved

Jiangsu Dafeng Offshore Wind Power Project (Jiangsu Dafeng Offshore Phase I) is equipped with Xinjiang Goldwind Science & Technology turbines. The phase consists of 19 turbines, each with 6.45MW nameplate capacity.

Jiangsu Dafeng Offshore Wind Power Project (Jiangsu Dafeng Offshore Phase II) is equipped with Xinjiang Goldwind Science & Technology turbines. The phase consists of 54 turbines, each with 3.3MW nameplate capacity.
