Description
The project was developed by Huaneng Zhejiang Pinghu Offshore Wind Power and is currently owned by Huaneng Power International.
The wind turbines in the project are installed on fixed foundations. An array of monopile foundations feature in the project.
The project generates 800,000MWh electricity thereby offsetting 340,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is $759.31m.

Contractors Involved
Shanghai Electric Wind Power Equipment was selected as the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The company provided 50 turbines, each with 6MW nameplate capacity.
