The project is currently owned by Jindal Aluminium.
Jindal Aluminum Bavihalu Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 96.66 acres.
The project generates 38GWh electricity thereby offsetting 36,480t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is $22.311m.
The project consists of 73,040 modules, each with 315W nameplate capacity.
Development Status
The project got commissioned in March 2017.

Vikram Solar was selected to render EPC services for the solar PV power project.
Vikram Solar is the O&M contractor for the solar PV power project. The operation and maintenance contract commenced from 2017, for a period of 5 years.
