The project is being developed and currently owned by Elsewedy Power System Projects.

Juba Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is planned over 25 hectares.

The project is expected to supply enough clean energy to power 59,000 households, to offset 10,886.2t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is expected to be around $45m.
