Description

Uniper, Lechwerke and EnBW Energie Baden-Wurttemberg are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 77.49%, 14% and 8.5% respectively.

Kachlet is a run-of-river project. The hydro reservoir capacity is 308 million cubic meter. The gross head of the project is 9.8m. The project generated 319 GWh of electricity.

Voith Hydro Holding was selected as the turbine supplier for the hydro power project. The company provided 8 units of kaplan turbines, each with 6.71MW nameplate capacity.
