Description
The project was developed by WKN Polska. ENERGA HYDRO and PGE Polska Grupa Energetyczna are currently owning the project.
The project generates 10,275MWh electricity thereby offsetting 105,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is $109m.
Development Status
The project is currently active. The project got commissioned in January 2010.
Contractors Involved
Vestas Wind Systems was selected as the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The company provided 17 units of V90-3.0 MW turbines, each with 3MW nameplate capacity.
Vestas Wind Systems is the O&M contractor for the wind power project for a period of 5 years.
