Description
The project is developed and owned by Shri Chhatrapati Sahakari Sakhar Karkhana.
The project cost is $22.778m.
The process of combustion has been adopted in this combined heat and power (CHP) project to release the stored energy from the feed. Bagasse which is a kind of agricultural by-product is used as a feedstock to power the project.
Development Status
The project got commissioned in December 2017.
Power Purchase Agreement
The power generated from the project is sold to Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution under a power purchase agreement.
