Power Purchase Agreement
The power generated from the project is sold to Eskom Holdings SOC under a power purchase agreement for a period of 20 years. The contracted capacity is 73.8MW.
Group Five and Iberdrola Ingenieria y Construccion SAU were selected to render EPC services for the wind power project.
Vestas Wind Systems was selected as the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The company provided 41 units of V100-1.8 MW turbines, each with 1.8MW nameplate capacity.
Vestas Wind Systems is the O&M contractor for the wind power project for a period of 15 years.
