Kerian Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project.

The project generates 67GWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 21,000 households, offsetting 44,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is $47m.

The project consists of 126,000 modules.

Development Status

The project got commissioned in October 2020.

Power Purchase Agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to Tenaga Nasional under a power purchase agreement for a period of 21 years from 2019. The contracted capacity is 30MW.

Contractors Involved

Scatec was selected to render EPC services for the solar PV power project.

Scatec is the O&M contractor for the solar PV power project.
