Description
The project is developed and owned by Kimanis Power Sdn. The company has a stake of 100%.
It is a Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) power plant. The fuel is procured from Sabah Oil And Gas Terminal.
The project cost is $485m.
Development Status
The project got commissioned in May 2014.
Power Purchase Agreement
The power generated from the project is sold to Sabah Electricity Sdn under a power purchase agreement for a period of 21 years.
Contractors Involved
CTCI Malaysia was selected to render EPC services for the gas fired power project.
The Gas fired project have been supplied by GE Power and Kawasaki Heavy Industries.
The electric generators for the project were procured from GE Power and Kawasaki Heavy Industries.
