The project is developed and owned by Cobra Gestion de Infraestructuras.

The project generates 187,000MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 50,000 households, offsetting 122,135t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is $117.5m.

The project has 119m high towers.

Power Purchase Agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to Administracion Nacional de Usinas y Trasmisiones Electricas under a power purchase agreement for a period of 20 years.

Contractors Involved

Vestas Wind Systems was selected as the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The company provided 16 units of V112-3.3 turbines, each with 3.07MW nameplate capacity.

Vestas Wind Systems is the O&M contractor for the wind power project for a period of 5 years.
