Description

The project was developed by Ecopower International and Evelop International. The project is currently owned by Allianz Global Investors with a stake of 100%.

The project generates 115,000MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 35,000 households, offsetting 57,500t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is $72.028m.

The project has 78m high towers.

The project is currently active. The project got commissioned in December 2007.

Contractors Involved

Vestas Wind Systems was selected as the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The company provided 22 units of V80-2.0 MW turbines, each with 2MW nameplate capacity.

Deutsche Windtechnik is the O&M contractor for the wind power project. The operation and maintenance contract commenced from 2018, for a period of 10 years.
