Description
The project is being developed by Pumpspeicherkraftwerk Koralm. MOHIK-Wertholz, Sonnhof Development, Andritz Hydro and Porr Bau are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 50%, 48%, 1% and 1% respectively.
Koralm is a pumped storage project. The gross head of the project will be 650m. The project cost is expected to be around $1,301.232m.
Development Status
The project construction is expected to commence from 2025. Subsequent to that it will enter into commercial operation by 2029.
Contractors Involved
Andritz Hydro will be the turbine supplier for the hydro power project. The hydro power project consists of 4 turbines.
Andritz Hydro will supply electric generator(s) for the project.
