Description

The project was developed by Koumi Kogen Solar Energy GK. Invenergy Japan GK and Terras Energy are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 60% and 40% respectively.

Koumi Kogen Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 18 hectares.

The project generates 12,472MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 3,464 households.

Development status

The project construction commenced in 2017 and subsequently entered into commercial operation in June 2019.

Power purchase agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to Chubu Electric Power under a power purchase agreement at the rate of $0.331kWh. The contracted capacity is 8MW.

Contractors involved

Kyocera was selected to render engineering procurement construction services for the solar PV power project.

Yingli Green Energy Holding was selected as the supplier of the PV modules for the project. The company installed 31,680 modules at the site.

The inverters were procured from SMA Solar Technology for the project.

Kyocera is the O&M contractor for the solar PV power project, commencing from the year 2019.
