Description
CPC, Taiwan Cogeneration and The Kansai Electric Power are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 45%, 35% and 20% respectively.
It is a Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) power plant.
Development Status
The project got commissioned in November 2003.
Power Purchase Agreement
The power generated from the project is sold to Taiwan Power under a power purchase agreement for a period of 25 years.

Siemens was selected to render EPC services for the gas fired power project.
Siemens was selected as the turbine supplier for the Gas fired project. The Gas fired project consists of 1 steam turbine.
Siemens was selected as the turbine supplier for the Gas fired project. The company provided 2 units of SGT6-4000F gas turbines.
Siemens supplied electric generator for the project.
