Kurpsai is an 800MW hydro power project. It is located on Naryn/Syr Darya river/basin in Kyrgyzstan. The project is currently active. It has been developed in single phase. Post completion of construction, the project got commissioned in 2008.

The hydro reservoir capacity is 370 million cubic meter. The gross head of the project is 106m. The project generated 2,630 GWh of electricity.
The project got commissioned in 2008.
Turboatom was selected as the turbine supplier for the hydro power project. The company provided 4 turbines, each with 200MW nameplate capacity.
NPO Elsib supplied 4 electric generators for the project. The generator capacity is 235 MVA.
