Description

The project was developed by Agricola Santa Lucia and Eolica La Estrella. The project is currently owned by Eolica La Estrella.

The project generates 132,000MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 60,000 households, offsetting 23,500t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is $70m.

The project has 127.500m high towers.

Contractors Involved

Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy was selected as the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The company provided 11 units of SG 4.5-145 turbines, each with 4.5MW nameplate capacity.
