The project was developed by Iberdrola and is currently owned by Iberdrola Mexico with a stake of 100%.

It is a Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) power plant.

The project generated 3,791,000MWh of electricity. The project cost is $250m.

The project got commissioned in March 2005.

Power Purchase Agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to Comision Federal de Electricidad under a power purchase agreement for a period of 25 years. The contracted capacity is 500MW.

Contractors Involved

ICA-Fluor Daniel S De RL De CV was selected to render EPC services for the gas fired power project.

GE Power was selected as the turbine supplier for the Gas fired project. The Gas fired project consists of 1 steam turbine.

GE Power was selected as the turbine supplier for the Gas fired project. The company provided 2 units of 7F.04 gas turbines.

GE Power supplied electric generator for the project.
