The project was developed by Elecnor and is currently owned by Fotowatio Renewable Ventures with a stake of 100%.

La Magasquilla Solar Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 70 hectares.

The project generates 23,040MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 11,712 households. The project cost is $96.423m.

Development Status

The project got commissioned in June 2008.

Wuxi Suntech Power was selected as the supplier of PV modules for the project.
