Lakhwar is a 300MW hydro power project. It is planned on Yamuna river/basin in Uttarakhand, India. The project is currently in permitting stage. It will be developed in single phase. Post completion of the construction, the project is expected to get commissioned in 2022.

The project is being developed and currently owned by Uttarakhand Jal Vidyut Nigam.
The hydro reservoir capacity is planned to be 330.66 million cubic meter. The gross head and net head of the project will be 165.9m and 148m respectively. The project is expected to generate 612.93 GWh of electricity. The project cost is expected to be around $606.788m.
The hydro power project consists of 3 turbines, each with 100MW nameplate capacity.
