Description
The project was developed by WestWind Energy. InfraRed Capital Partners, Northleaf Capital Partners and Macquarie Capital are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 40%, 40% and 20% respectively.
The project generates 700GWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 92,000 households, offsetting 780,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.
The LaL LaL Wind Farm (Lal Lal Wind Farm-Elaine end), has 93m high towers.

Development Status
The project is currently active. The project got commissioned in June 2019.
Power Purchase Agreement
The power generated from the project is sold to Orora Packaging Australia under a power purchase agreement, starting from 2019.
Contractors Involved
Vestas Wind Systems and Zenviron were selected to render EPC services for the wind power project.
Vestas Wind Systems was selected as the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The project consists of 60 units of V136-3.6 turbines, each with 3.8MW nameplate capacity.
Vestas Wind Systems is the O&M contractor for the wind power project. The operation and maintenance contract commenced from 2019, for a period of 30 years.
