The project is being developed by NEO I SPV. Izuba Energies, One Power Lesotho and Scatec are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 33.34%, 33.33% and 33.33% respectively.

Lesotho Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is planned over 34.3 hectares.

Development status

The project construction is expected to commence from 2024. Subsequent to that it will enter into commercial operation by 2025.

Power purchase agreement

The power generated from the project will be sold to Lesotho Electricity under a power purchase agreement for a period of 25 years.

Scatec is expected to render engineering procurement construction services for the solar PV power project.
