Limberg II is a pumped storage project. The net head of the project is 370m. The penstock length is 585m. The penstock diameter is 4.8m. The project cost is $520.414m.

Contractors Involved

Voith Hydro Holding was selected as the turbine supplier for the hydro power project. The company provided 2 units of francis turbines, each with 240MW nameplate capacity.

Andritz Hydro supplied 2 electric generators for the project. The generator capacity is 270 MVA.
