Liyujiang Power Plant, China

Liyujiang Power Plant is a 630MW coal fired power project. It is located in Hunan, China. The project is currently active. It has been developed in multiple phases. Post completion of construction, the project got commissioned in July 2003.

Description

China Resources Power Hunan Liujiang and China Power International Development are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 60% and 25.2% respectively.

It is a Steam Turbine power plant that is used for Baseload. The fuel is procured from Hunan, Henan and Shanxi provinces.

Development Status

The project got commissioned in July 2003.

Power Purchase Agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to China Southern Power Grid under a power purchase agreement.

Contractors Involved

Liyujiang Power Plant (Liyujiang Power Plant Unit I) is equipped with Harbin Turbine steam turbine. The phase consists of 1 steam turbine with 315MW nameplate capacity.

Liyujiang Power Plant (Liyujiang Power Plant Unit II) is equipped with Harbin Turbine steam turbine. The phase consists of 1 steam turbine with 315MW nameplate capacity.

Dongfang Boiler Group supplied steam boiler for the Liyujiang Power Plant (Liyujiang Power Plant Unit I).

Dongfang Boiler Group supplied steam boiler for the Liyujiang Power Plant (Liyujiang Power Plant Unit II).
