The project was developed by SolarHybrid. Altira Group and Renewable Energy Capital Partners are currently owning the project.
Lonnewitz Solar Power Plant is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 50 hectares.
The project generates 21,900MWh of electricity. The project cost is $64.206m.
Development Status
The project got commissioned in July 2011.

SolarHybrid was selected to render EPC services for the solar PV power project.
The solar PV modules for the project were supplied by JA Solar Holdings and Trina Solar.
SMA Solar Technology supplied 2 of its SC 500 CP inverters to the project site.
SMA Solar Technology supplied 8 of its SC 630 CP inverters to the project site.
SMA Solar Technology supplied 18 of its SC 720 CP inverters to the project site.
