The project was developed by Duke Energy Renewables. Duke Energy Renewables and John Hancock Life Insurance are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 51% and 49% respectively.

The project supplies enough clean energy to power 60,000 households. The project cost is $437.27m.

The project has 80m high towers.

Contractors Involved

Mitsubishi Heavy Industries was selected as the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The company provided 84 units of MWT102/2.4 turbines, each with 2.4MW nameplate capacity.
