Description
The project is currently owned by Petroleo Brasileiro with a stake of 100%.
It is a Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) power plant. The fuel is procured from Bolivia–Brazil Pipeline (GASBOL).
Development Status
The project got commissioned in January 2004.
Contractors Involved
The Gas fired project have been supplied by GE Power and Siemens.
GE Power supplied electric generator for the project.
Mitsubishi Power supplied steam boiler for the project.
GE Power is the O&M contractor for thermal power project. The operation and maintenance contract commenced from 2017, for a period of 4 years.
