Lumut GB3 Power Plant is a 650MW gas fired power project. It is located in Perak, Malaysia. The project is currently active. It has been developed in single phase. Post completion of construction, the project got commissioned in November 2002.

Malakoff and Tenaga Nasional are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 75% and 20% respectively.
It is a Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) power plant. The power plant run on dual-fuel. The primary fuel being used to power the plant is natural gas. In case of shortage of natural gas the plant can also run on Distillate Fuel Oil. The fuel is procured from Petronas.
The project got commissioned in November 2002.
Power Purchase Agreement
The power generated from the project is sold to Tenaga Nasional under a power purchase agreement for a period of 21 years.
GE Power was selected to render EPC services for the gas fired power project.
GE Power was selected as the turbine supplier for the Gas fired project. The company provided 3 units of GT13E2 gas turbines, each with 143MW nameplate capacity.
GE Power supplied electric generator for the project.
GE Power supplied steam boiler for the project.
Malakoff is the O&M contractor for thermal power project.
