Luzentia solar PV park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 100 hectares.
The project generates 41,600MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 20,000 households, offsetting 42,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is $192.511m.
The project got commissioned in January 2008.
The solar PV modules for the project were supplied by Atersa, Solon, Wuxi Suntech Power and Yingli Energy (China).
The project is utilising single axis trackers supplied by SunPower.
