Description
The project was developed by AGL Energy and Meridian Energy. The project is co-owned by AMP Capital Investors and HRL Morrison, with their respective ownership stake of 50% each.
The project generates 1,240GWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 181,000 households, offsetting 1,500,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is $717.79m.
The project has 85m high towers.

The project is currently active. The project got commissioned in January 2013.
Power Purchase Agreement
The power generated from the project is sold to AGL Energy under a power purchase agreement for a period of 25 years. The contracted capacity is 420MW.
Contractors Involved
Vestas Wind Systems was selected to render EPC services for the wind power project.
Vestas Wind Systems was selected as the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The company provided 140 units of V112-3.0 turbines, each with 3MW nameplate capacity.
AGL Energy and Vestas Wind Systems were contracted to render operations & maintenance services for the project.
