Description

The project was developed by CLP Power India. CLP India Private and Caisse de depot et placement du Quebec are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 60% and 40% respectively.

It is a steam turbine power plant that is used for Baseload. The fuel is procured from Coal India Limited.

The project emitted 5,276t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.

The Tata Power and Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam are the power offtakers from the project.

SEPCOIII Electric Power Construction was selected to render EPC services for the coal fired power project.

Dongfang Turbine was selected as the turbine supplier for the Coal fired project.

Dongfang Electric (India) supplied electric generator for the project.

Harbin Boiler supplied steam boiler for the project.
