Mahl is a 640MW hydro power project. It is planned on Jhelum river/basin in Azad Kashmir, Pakistan. The project is currently in permitting stage. It will be developed in single phase. Post completion of the construction, the project is expected to get commissioned in 2025.

Mahl is a run-of-river project. The gross head and net head of the project will be 59m and 55m respectively. The project is expected to generate 2,934 GWh of electricity. The project cost is expected to be around $1,281.47m.
