Description
The project is co-owned by ESWE Versorgungs and Stadtwerke Mainz, with their respective ownership stake of 50% each.
It is a CCGT with Cogen power plant. The fuel is procured from KMW Gas Transport GmbH.
Development Status
The project got commissioned in March 2001.

Siemens was selected as the turbine supplier for the Gas fired project. The company provided 1 unit of SGT5-4000F gas turbine with 265MW nameplate capacity.
Siemens was selected as the turbine supplier for the Gas fired project. The company provided 1 unit of SST5-6000 steam turbine with 140MW nameplate capacity.
Siemens supplied Air Cooled electric generator for the project.
Siemens Heat Transfer Technology supplied steam boiler for the project.
