Mambilla is a 1,525MW hydro power project. It is planned on Donga river/basin in Taraba, Nigeria. The project is currently in permitting stage. It will be developed in single phase. The project construction is likely to commence in 2023 and is expected to enter into commercial operation in 2027.

The project is currently owned by Federal Ministry of Power.
The gross head of the project will be 950m. The project is expected to generate 4,700 GWh of electricity. The project cost is expected to be around $5,800m.
The hydro power project consists of 12 turbines, each with 250MW nameplate capacity.
The project construction is expected to commence from 2023. Subsequent to that it will enter into commercial operation by 2027.
CGCOC Group, China Gezhouba Group and Sinohydro are expected to render EPC services for the hydro power project.
