Marcovia Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 252 hectares.
The project generates 93,000MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 45,000 households, offsetting 40,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.
Development status
The project got commissioned in July 2015.
Power purchase agreement
The power generated from the project is sold to Empresa Nacional de Energia Electrica under a power purchase agreement, starting from 2015.
