The project is currently owned by VERBUND Hydro Power.

Mayrhofen is a reservoir based project. The hydro reservoir capacity is 6.6 million cubic meter. The gross head of the project is 6.6m. Mayrhofen underwent through rehabilitation & modernization during 2015. The project generated 700.457 GWh of electricity.

Contractors Involved

The turbines for the hydro power project have been supplied by Andritz Hydro and Voith Hydro Holding.

ELIN Motoren supplied 6 electric generators for the project. The generator capacity is 65 MVA.
