Description

The project is developed and owned by Grupo Terra. The company has a stake of 100%.

Mecer Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 70 hectares.

The project supplies enough clean energy to power 50,000 households, offsetting 15,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.

Development Status

The project got commissioned in July 2015.

Power Purchase Agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to Empresa Nacional de Energia Electrica under a power purchase agreement for a period of 20 years from 2015. The contracted capacity is 25MW.

First Solar was selected to render EPC services for the solar PV power project.
