Description

The process of combustion has been adopted in this combined heat and power (CHP) project to release the stored energy from the feed. Bagasse which is a kind of agricultural by-product is used as a feedstock to power the project.

Contractors Involved

The steam turbines for the biopower project have been supplied by Parsons Peebles Generation, Siemens and The Weir Group.Parsons Peebles Generation supplied the electric generator for the project.
