Power Plant stood at first place when compared with other power tender categories in the Middle East and Africa region in November 2020 with 31 tenders and a 34.1% share, followed by Generation Equipment with 23 tenders and a 25.3% share and T&D Equipment with 23 tenders and a 25.3% share during the month.
The proportion of tenders by category tracked by GlobalData in the month was as follows:
- Project Implementation: 26 tenders and an 83.9% share
- Consulting & Similar Services: four tenders and a 12.9% share

Middle East and Africa power plant tenders in November 2020: Top issuers by capacity
The top issuers of power plant tenders for the month in terms of power capacity involved in Middle East and Africa were:
- DT Global and The Office of Civil Aviation and Airports: 5MW from one tender
