T&D Equipment stood at first place when compared with other power tender categories in the Middle East and Africa region in August 2021 with 96 tenders and a 54.5% share, followed by Power Plant with 30 tenders and a 17% share and Generation Equipment with 22 tenders and a 12.5% share during the month.

The proportion of tenders by category tracked by GlobalData in the month was as follows:

  1. Supply & Erection: 93 tenders and a 96.9% share
  2. Repair, Maintenance, Upgrade & Others: two tenders and a 2.1% share
  3. Project Implementation: one tender and a 1% share.
